Fleckenstein's Bakery is
well known in the south Chicagoland Area for creating the finest wedding cakes available.
Fleckenstein's Bakery produces the finest wedding cakes through the devoted team of
Bob, Joan, Ray and Ross Fleckenstein and their insistence that a wedding cake is created no
more than 24 hours in advance of the reception. They work long hours on the weekend
to ensure the freshest cake for you. Typically, while you are at your dress
rehearsal, They haven't even started your cake yet. The family team pay
every attention to detail starting with the baking of the delicious cake layers.
Fleckenstein's Cakes are then engineered and assembled from the bottom up to create a cake
that is structurally sound so that your cake will stand the test of time (unless a tipsy
guest falls into the table!). Then they will beautifully ice your cake to a smooth
as glass finish. Finally your cake is decorated with the utmost precision and
patience. After the cake is completed at the bakery, your cake is carefully driven
to the hall and set up by Ray or Ross. Bob, Joan, Ray and Ross feel that creating your
wedding cake is the most important job they do. It is because they feel this way
that they leave nothing to chance and personally do all the work on your cake. After
all, their reputation is at stake. |

Pricing All price levels include Buttercream filling Optional fillings: apricot, cherry, chocolate fudge, lemon, pineapple, raspberry are available for $0.10/serving extra Cake flavors are: white, yellow, chocolate, marble, pound, lemon, lemon poppy, carrot*, banana* *Carrot or banana cake $0.25/serving extra. Both contain walnuts. Can be made without. *Cream cheese icing on carrot or banana $0.25/serving extra. Serving size is based on wedding industry standard 1" x 2" x height of cake (approx 4") Example of how to read the cake information: W-61 is the cake design number or name 95 servings is the number of servings shown on 12-10-8 L1 is the cake sizes for the number of servings and price level almost any design can be adapted to a different size cake Level 1 (L1) $ 2.75/serving most designs Level 2 (L2) $ 3.00/serving Pearls, Basketweave, high qty roses, heart cakes, hex cakes Level 3 (L3) $ 3.50/serving Rolled Fondant basic Level 4 (L4) $ 4.25/serving Level 5 Designs brought in will be quoted based on the level they fall into or above depending on complexity Fountain rental & greens $35.00 make sure hall provides power to the table Cake bags $.12 each Payment A down payment of $50.00 is required to secure your date. This is non refundable in the event of cancellation. Final Payment All Wedding Cakes must be completely paid for at least 7 business days prior to wedding. Fresh Flowers If you choose to have fresh flowers on your cake, it is the florist's responsibility for providing the flowers and making sure they are safe to place on an edible cake (clean and non-toxic). Also, make sure that the florist will be available to place the flowers at the appropriate time. We do not arrange flowers on a cake. We will place pre-made arrangements on the cake or between pillars. Deliveries Cakes are generally delivered 1-2 hours before the reception start time. If you are having your ceremony at the reception site, please tell us so that we can deliver your cake before the ceremony. Occasionally we will deliver outside of this normal window based on our delivery schedule and hall schedule for the day. We reserve the right to make delivery decisions based on our experience of what is best for the cake. Sunday Deliveries On Sundays we only deliver until Noon. Because of this, we will not deliver to any receptions starting after 2pm. Changes Changes to an existing order will be accepted until 7 days prior to the wedding. |
